Local Pickup and Assembly
If you pay the in-store price all assembly and initial maintenance will be performed by our mechanics. Additionally, up to one hour of instruction will be provided for new riders. This includes operation instructions, safety instructions and answering any questions.
Regional Delivery and Assembly
For our customers located within a 300-mile radius of our service center, chinascooter.net offers a premium delivery service. This involves complete service and assembly of your scooter, dirt bike, ATV or other vehicle. We will personally deliver your new vehicle and include up to one hour of instruction.
Price is based upon one-way distance and cost $1.50 a mile with a $100 minimum. Please contact customer service, (870)-230-1800, to schedule your premium delivery and instruction.
Shipping in Crate by Truck - Some Assembly Required
Scooters, dirt bikes, ATV's and other vehicles are shipped by truck in a large steel framed carton.. Terminal pickup is available in some cities. Shipping options must be discussed and prepaid before arrangements are made.
If you do not have a loading dock or your mechanic shop does not have a loading dock, we must schedule a liftgate truck to deliver to you. Please call for additional charges. Liftgate service is usually less than $80.
If a carrier expects to deliver to a location with a loading dock and does not find one, they may refuse to deliver. This may result in the customer incurring all shipping charges, including delivery back to our warehouse.
Professional Assembly is Highly Recommended
Items, which are shipped in cartons, will require some final assembly. For scooters this includes: installing the front wheel, mirrors, gauges, certain cables, installing the battery, making minor adjustments, and changing the fluids. For other types of vehicles assembly is similar.

Assembly must be performed by the dealer or another professional mechanic for your warranty to be valid. Acceptable professional mechanics include small engine mechanics, motorcycle and automobile mechanics.
You must keep the receipt from your mechanic. Mail or fax a copy of the mechanic's receipt, a copy of the bill of sale and the completed warranty registration form to the manufacturer within five days of your delivery. This will insure your limited warranty will be valid.

You should figure the cost of assembly into your total price considerations. Usually, assembly and changing out the fluids should around $100. Your costs may be more or less based upon your local mechanic's rates.
Inspect Your Delivery
You should inspect all items thoroughly upon receipt.
While every precaution is taken to ensure that your machine is packaged carefully and will arrive without damage, we cannot be responsible for minor dings or scratches that may occur during transit.
Please be prepared to accept that your vehicle may arrive in less than perfect condition and minor paint touchups may be required.
Report Freight Damage to the Shipper
If you receive a crate that is visibly damaged, please note the damage on the carrier's freight bill or receipt. Be sure to obtain a copy. Once received, keep the original carton, all packing materials and parts intact.
If the crate is heavily damaged, then please refuse delivery.
If shipping damage is found, it is the responsibility of the customer to file a claim with the carrier.
It is a good idea to photograph any damage including damage to crate with a digital camera. These photos may be needed in the event a claim is filed.
All claims to the carrier must be made within three days of receipt of goods, supported by an invoice and bill of materials.
